About the Bakery

Bakery Andante is a small-batch artisan baker in Morningside and Leith that meticulously bakes a fantastic range of fresh bread and pastries every morning.

'Andante' is a musical expression meaning 'at a slower tempo', which perfectly describes how they think bread should be made. 

Baked daily, their breads are made using locally sourced ingredients, where we can, and made from scratch on the premises.  No additives or artificial improvers are used and they allow time to create the depth of flavours.

Bakery Andante would rather take the time, and allow nature to do its work, and let the quality of the ingredients they use shine through.
